Me: I am a business-led commercially focussed HR generalist working with CEO’s and leadership teams to grow businesses through organisational effectiveness. I have a specialism in developing operating models, re-engineering, restructuring and pragmatically implementing the changes. As a commercial HRD my passion and experience has led me to understand that the point of difference can also be ensuring the operating model and organisational structure is directly connected to the strategy, leadership teams goals and business deliverables.

My approach: I start all interactions with a singular focus on the business opportunity or challenge and the leadership team. The starting point for any people intervention is focussed on the business goals: validating the business goals, sometimes challenges the leadership team to review them. Great operating models, organisation designs or people plans can then be built around prioritised goals -delivering commercial benefit.

My aim: As a previous interim HRD and as a HR consultant my aim is to work with businesses to fulfil the next level of their potential. I enjoy bringing new skills and knowledge to a business but working in a focussed way with a CEO and leadership teams to maximise the current capability and capacity to drive their business opportunity.

Professional skills and expertise: Masters degree in Human Resources and a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development. I have designed and implemented behavioural change, leadership, OD and top team effectiveness interventions and coached and facilitated at Board, executive and senior management teams.

My clients: Bibby Financial Services, CostCutter Supermarkets Limited, Arriva, Morrisons Supermarket and Bibby Offshore Limited. I was a shareholder and non-exec member of a construction business, property development business and of a small privately-owned leading-edge MRI scanning hospital.
